We have a vast range of carpets for you to choose from - soft, deep pile carpets, berbers, twist or loop styles made in wool, polypropylene, wool and nylon mix and plant-based. Some are stripey, some patterned, some plain, some can be cleaned with bleach. We also have more than 30 years’ experience in flooring so can happily help you choose the right carpet.
We’ll talk to you about how your carpeted rooms are used, if you have children or pets, and your colour schemes and furniture choices. You can take some samples home to try them in your own environment. And if you can’t find what you want from our range, we’ll speak with our suppliers to see if they have any more ideas we can share with you.

You might already have underlay but it gets worn out just as much as carpet does. Your new carpet will benefit hugely from fresh underlay and choosing the right type is important for several reasons:
No matter how hard you try, you will bring outdoor debris on your footwear – or paws - into your house. This particularly annoying if you have a lovely new floor covering. Protecting your flooring behind the front door is a good idea!
We recommend coir matting or alternatives to protect LVT or wood floors from the stones that get stuck in shoes or wet footwear.
This matting can also help to protect carpets as it’s great at catching that dirty layer on walking boots!
When installed at the same time as your new flooring, the mats can be recessed into a mat well. This means no chasing the mat up the hallway, because it won’t move. These can be fitted with or without trims depending on the type of flooring, and when your mat starts to look tired and worn it is very easy to remove and replace it.

If you’re having new carpet fitted, it makes sense to have the underlay replaced too as it can greatly increase the life of your new carpet. If there are signs of wear in your existing underlay, your carpet will wear unevenly in those areas, which will be noticeable. More modern underlays offer great sound reduction and heat insulation too.
We tend not to offer a fitting only service for two main reasons. First, because we only work with products where we’re confident in the quality and from suppliers who offer good aftercare. And second, because of this, we can offer great fitting warranties where we match the length of the manufacturer warranty.
Yes we can. Our staff are very knowledgeable about how to look after the different types of flooring and we have leaflets and/or website links for each manufacturer too. We also sell a wide range of cleaning products in our online shop.
For carpet, we need the measurements of the widest and the longest parts of the room. You need to make sure you go into any recesses or alcoves and don’t forget to go to the threshold in the doorway.
For areas having hard flooring, we recommend you let our estimator visit and take measurements. This is because they take into account areas such as fireplaces and it can also be used as an opportunity to assess the subfloor conditions to give an accurate price.
